Sprouse led the Aggies in hitting against the No. 8 nationally ranked Heartland Conference leader St. Mary’s University; he averaged .625 batting with a .875 slugging percentage for the series and went five of eight at the plate with six putouts and six assists at short stop. Earlier in the week Sprouse went 2-2 against Adams State and batted .500 with two runs against Colorado Christian.
