A reliable player both at the plate and in the field, “Boogie” stepped up with a great performance against Lubbock Christian on the road. She led the team in batting with four hits on six at-bats for an average of .667. A triple in game two led to one RBI and helped improve her slugging percentage to 1.000; she was perfect in the field with two putouts and two assists on four attempts.
