Progressing well this season, Newman started the year riding in the Intermediate One division and, with this week’s performance at Cheyenne, Wyo. she earned enough points to advance to the Intermediate Two division; Newman placed fourth in Saturday’s IHSA Western show and finished with a nice ride on Sunday as well.
