Hernandez played with poise, maturity and heart against a very tough Sam Houston State team. The senior WR scored two of the Aggies’ thre touchdowns including a 69-yard reception to pull the Aggies within seven points of the No. 2 team in the nation. He totaled 133 yards on seven catches for a game-high in receiving.
