In the Aggies’ season openers this weekend, Acosta was a heavy contributor as a newcomer to the team. The junior transfer totaled a team-high of 14 points against NM Highlands on Friday and added another nine points against Western NM on Saturday.  She also averaged three rebounds per game and totaled one steal and six assists on the series. Despite her strong efforts on offense, the Aggies fell in both of their weekend matchups.
