Will Martin was a huge part of the team's success this weekend. Martin had a picture perfect weekend in the Bareback Riding winning both the long round and the short round. He therefore won the average and earned the 2018 Bareback Riding Champion title for the Garden City Community College Rodeo. Not only did Martin perform well in the Bareback Riding, the all-around cowboy was also present in the Steer Wrestling in the short round. Martin came into the short round in fifth place with a time of 5.3 seconds and was also fifth in the long round and the average as well.
