The OPSU Equestrian team opened its season this past weekend at North Texas competition and senior Makayla Hoffman got her 2019-20 season off to a great start. 
In Saturday's round, in the Rookie B Division, Hoffman was fourth.  In Sunday's round, in Rookie B, Hoffman was again 4th., By virtue of her performance, Hoffman qualified for the regional competition. She will compete at Regionals March 2nd in Canyon at WTAMU. This also means that Hoffman leveled out of Rookie B and will compete for the remainder of the season in Level 1.
