The Panhandle State Football team notched their first home win of the season on Homecoming against Texas Wesleyan University, in one of the most exciting games for the Aggies in recent memory. Diamante Pounds helped seal the 2OT victory for the Aggies as he was an absolute wrecking ball on defense. When the dust finally cleared, Pounds totaled 13 tackles for the game (7 solo), a sack, and a game-leading 5 tackles for loss, one of which was on the last drive of the game when Texas Welseyan was threatening to even the score.
Pounds and the Aggies will travel to the Phoenix, Arizona area next Saturday for a match-up at Arizona Christian University.
