Competing on the big stage of the Rope for the Crown Breakaway Championships at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, Beau finished eighth in the overall average in a large field of the Rope for the Crown World Championship event. Beau had a composite time of 22.57 seconds, with less than 3/4 of a second separating 6-8 places of the Breakaway Roping competition.
