Also named the Sooner Athletic Conference offensive Player of the Week, Gamboa scored the only two goals against Oklahoma City in an away match to begin the week, including the equalizer as well as the game-winner in the 48^th minute to pull ahead and defeat OCU 2-1. Three days later, Gamboa doubled his goal total to four for the week in the 4-0 victory over Texas Wesleyan adding another go-ahead goal and spreading the wealth with an assist late in the match. Gamboa also displayed sharp-shooting accuracy by having all six of his shots on-goal (6-6) while finishing on four of them (.670). He can also boast a total of nine points for the week as he was an offensive juggernaut for the Aggies.
