GOODWELL, Okla. Oklahoma Panhandle State University Athletics has named track and field's BreyannaKemp and baseball's Miguel Montanothe Mack's Motorsports Aggies of the Week from April 6-12.

Kemp andthe trackrunnerswent down to Canyon, Texas,to competein the Jo Meaker Classic hosted by West Texas A&MUniversity, where Kemp had herself quite the weekend. The Bahamas native competed in both the 200-meters and 400-meters, setting season-best times in both. Her 400-meterstime of58.00 seconds had head coach Cyrus Hall encouraged, calling her first 300 meters of the race "almost perfect." The 200, though, was whereKemp shined as the seniorshatteredher own previousschool record by clocking 24.75 seconds, which stands alone as the No. 1 time in the event within the Sooner Athletic Conference this season.

Montano had a weekend himself as he and the Aggieswere able to slay the beast of No. 18 Mid-America Christian University in the opener of their three-gameset. Everything went right for OPSU in the 4-3 win, with Montano'sbrilliant,seven-inning complete game playing a crucial part. Thefreshmanfrom Costa Rica allowed three earned runs onseven hits, while striking out three Evangels and throwing just 90 pitches. Though the game 1 starter allowed three walks and hit four batters,he was able to navigate through tough inningstime and time again.Montano had great defense behind him, and he was able to pick off two different base runners, including a trick-play pickoff at second base in the top of the sevenththat killed MACU's momentum and helped secure the Aggies' ranked win.
