Aggies Athletes Compete on the Road

Goodwell, Okla.—As the Oklahoma Panhandle State University football team plays their final home game of the season Saturday, Oct. 25, the rest of the fall sports will compete on the road this week.

The volleyball team will travel to Austin, Texas for two matches on Oct. 22-23. The Aggies start with a non-conference match on Wednesday against Huston-Tillotson College and will return to Heartland play on Thursday with a game against the number three-ranked St. Edward's University Hilltoppers.

Cross country will travel to Amarillo, Texas where both the men's and women's teams will compete in the Buffalo Stampede meet hosted by West Texas A&M University on Saturday, Oct. 25. This is the final regular-season meet for the Aggie runners and they look to continue improving heading into the Heartland Conference meet on Nov. 8 in Wichita, Kan.

The Aggie golf teams will go head-to-head in a dual meet with Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Woodward, Okla. Oct. 27-28. This marks the final tournament of the fall season for the Aggie golfers; they will be back in action in the spring of 2015.

Good luck and safe travels to all of our Aggie athletes and coaches! Aggie fans can look for updates on the OPSU Aggie Athletics Facebook and Twitter pages.
