WAXAHACHIE, Texas – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University soccer teams earned a split in their doubleheader on Wednesday at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. The Aggie women lost a 2-0 decision to the Lions, while the OPSU men topped SAGU, 2-1.
Despite playing down a player, the Panhandle women pushed the Lady Lions the entire match. OPSU was outshot 25-22, but the Aggies put one more shot (19-18) directly on-goal than did SAGU.

Sophia Rodriguez led all attackers with 10 shot attempts, eight on goal.

In the men's contest, The Aggies improved to 4-6-3 overall and 2-2-2 in the SAC by taming the Lions. Panhandle dominated the contest, out-shooting SAGU, 22-5.
Bilal Mohamed put the Aggies on the board first with a goal in the 37th minute.
Allan Gamboa assisted, as Panhandle carried the 1-0 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
Richardo Miller netted what would prove to be the deciding goal in the 62nd minute, giving the Aggies a 2-0 cushion. SAGU scored its lone goal in the 72nd minute.
Mohamed took four shots, all on goal. Three of Miller's four attempts were on-goal, as well.
Hugo Dutour had two saves for OPSU.
