Join the Aggie Cheer Team!

Goodwell, Okla.The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggie Cheer Team will host open tryouts for the 2016-2017 co-ed squad on June 3-4 in the Noble Activity Center.
Males and females interested in becoming a part of the spirited Aggie Cheer Team are invited to try out for the fall squad in front of a panel of judges. College participants must be enrolled at OPSU full-time for the fall semester and carry at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average; high school seniors must have been accepted into school and enrolled for fall classes in order to tryout.
Registration and a mandatory practice session will be held in the Noble Activity Center Friday, June 3 from 6-8 p.m. with registration opening at 5 p.m.; those wishing to try out for the team must be in attendance. On Saturday, June 4 candidates will meet from 8 a.m.-Noon to go over the material and tryouts will begin at 2 p.m. after a two-hour lunch break. Proof of insurance and a liability waiver will be required upon registration.
The Aggie Cheer Team offers limited scholarships dependent on squad size and in-state/out-of-state requirements. Each Participant must complete the Cheer Application and Tryout Packet which is available online along with further information about the tryout process.
