Aggie Place 3rd in LCU Cross Country Invite

GOODWELL, Okla.- The Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggie Cross Country team made their last trip of the schedule to Lubbock Christian University.
Aggies both qualified for their last meet, placing in 3rd.
Clarice Cain and Justin Duran would finish first for the Aggies.
Clarice Cain would finish with a time of 23:01, finishing in 20th.
With 23 minutes and 41 seconds, Azucena Carrillo finished 21st place in the women's 5k race. Abbey Goode would finish 22nd with 25 minutes and 24 seconds. Patricia Gray finished with a time of 25 minutes and 26 seconds. Amanda De Leon completed with a 27-56, finishing in 24th. And to round out the women's side was Veronica Ray finishing 25th with a time of 32 minutes and 57 seconds.
Justin Duran would finish in 10th place with 28 minutes and 58 seconds.
Next to finish was Gus Fields with 31 minutes and 26 seconds, finishing in 17th. Arturo Vallejo came in 18th place with a time of 32 minutes and 2 seconds. Coming in 19th place was Jair Cruz, with a time of 32 minutes and 7 seconds. Carlos Flores finished with 34 minutes and 46 seconds, placing in 21st. And to round out the race, Landry Cobble finished in 22nd with a time of 36:53.
Next week will be in Oklahoma City for the SAC conference meeting on November 5th at Eldon Lyon Park.
