As the summer months give way to the crisp autumn air, anticipation builds for another exhilarating cross-country season. The dedicated athletes of our esteemed university's cross-country team are ready to lace up their running shoes and showcase their talent on a challenging schedule that promises thrilling competitions and opportunities for personal and group growth.

The season kicks off on September 1, 2023, at the prestigious Big Country Festival, which McMurry Universitywill host. This invitational event promises fierce competition as teams from various universities converge to test their mettle on the course. Our athletes have been training rigorously and are eager to demonstrate their strength and determination in this early-season test.
A week later, on September 8, the team will head to Fort Hays State University to participate in the Tiger Open. Known for its challenging course, this event will be a valuable opportunity for our runners to gauge their progress and refine their strategies in a competitive environment.
On October 6th the Aggies will compete in the UCCS XC Open, a prestigious event that will showcase the talents and dedication of our cross country athletes. This competition will take place on Friday, October 6, [Current Year], and we invite you to participate in this exciting event.
After intense training and strategic adjustments, the team will travel to New Mexico Junior College on October 13 for the NMJC Invitational II.
