GOODWELL, Okla. Oklahoma Panhandle State University proudly recognizes two outstanding student-athletes as this week's Anchor D Bank Aggies of the Week: rodeo standoutsParker McIntyreandRiley Stark.
Parker McIntyre | Rodeo | Goat Tying
McIntyre had a standout weekend in the goat tying. She recorded a 7.3-second run in the long round, which placed her fourth heading into the short round. McIntyre followed up with a solid 8.6-second run in the short round, finishing with a two-head average of 15.9 seconds and splitting second through fourth in the averagemarking a strong finish for the Aggie cowgirl.
Riley Stark | Rodeo | Saddle Bronc Riding
Stark made his presence known in saddle bronc riding with a strong showing. He posted a 70-point ride in the long round, placing sixth heading into the short round. He improved with a 72-point ride in the short round, earning fifth place in the averagejust outside the payout. Stark's back-to-back solid rides demonstrated consistency and competitiveness.
