OPSU Shooting Sports opens at Midland Ice-Out

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Shooting Sports Team under Head Coach Jordan Freeman opened its 2020-21 slate of competitions on Friday (Sept. 18) at the Midland University Ice-Out. The Ice-Out will continue on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 19-20), as well, at the Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club.
"I am really excited about this upcoming shoot. It's our season opener as well as the first competition that we will compete in as a brand new program," Freeman said prior to departing for the event. "I am so proud of how hard my athletes have worked in practice to prepare for this shoot, even stepping out of their comfort zones to shoot in disciplines they have never competed in before. We are ready to show up and represent the Aggies!"
The Aggies will have a lighter schedule in the fall, with several additional events on tap in the spring.
