OPSU Lands No. 18 Spot on WBCA’s NAIA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll
ATLANTA — The Women's Basketball Coaches Association released its 2025-26 Academic Top 25 lists for each collegiate division Tuesday, and Oklahoma Panhandle State ranked No. 18 in the nation among nominated NAIA programs.
Head coach Maria Belt's team landed the spot with its 3.607 team GPA accumulated throughout the 2025-26 year.
The Aggies were one of three women's basketball programs in the Sooner Athletic Conference to appear on the list, with John Brown and Wayland Baptist also earning the distinction.
"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. "The 119 ranked teams we honor this year across all five collegiate membership divisions strive to achieve all-around success and we commend their efforts. Congratulations!"
