Goodwell, Okla.—The Oklahoma Panhandle State University volleyball team (3-18) will take to the road this week covering three cities in three days.
The Aggies' first stop will be Odessa, Texas as they take on conference rival University of Texas-Permian Basin (8-15) on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Falcon Dome. UTPB is currently tied for fifth in the Heartland Conference and the Aggies will look to gain their first conference win. Aggie fans can follow the game via live video and live stats links available on the OPSU Aggie Athletics website.
From Texas to New Mexico: the Aggies will then head to Hobbs, N.M. on Friday, Oct. 25 for a tri-match hosted by the University of the Southwest. Their first match will be against Wiley College (Texas) at 4 p.m. with their second match starting at 7 p.m. against USW.
On their way back towards Oklahoma the team will finish their road tour in Lubbock, Texas with another Heartland match-up against Lubbock Christian University on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Noon. LCU is currently ranked second in the conference with an overall record of 11-8 and a conference record of 8-3. A video link will be provided on the Aggie Athletics website.
The Aggies will be back in Goodwell for their final two home games next week and will host a Halloween Costume Contest on Thursday, Oct. 31 during their match against St. Edward's University which starts at 7 p.m. Seniors will be recognized during the final home game on Friday, Nov. 1 vs. McMurry University at 6 p.m. Join us for the fun in the Oscar Williams Field House!
