Box Score Fort Smith, Ark.—The OPSU Aggie volleyball team took on the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith yesterday evening and came up short as the Lions dominated the court in three straight matches.
With UAFS being a preseason pick to win the Heartland Conference, the Aggies had their work cut out for them from the start. The Lady Lions won the match in three straight sets 25-14, 25-12, 25-10 and remain unbeaten against the Aggies in their all-time series.
OPSU was held to a .065 hitting percentage but several Aggies were still able to make an impact on the game. Junior hitter
Brittany Dubberstein had a big game bringing in 5 kills, 6 digs, and 2 solo blocks scoring 7 points for the Aggies; senior Missy Marshall was second in scoring with 5 points. Sophomore

Nicole Fournier finished with 3. Freshman setter
Skylar Mayeux went to work contributing 13 assist, while junior hitter
Sarah Koster helped out with one service ace.
The Aggies continue their Arkansas tour with a tri-match this afternoon at Henderson State. The team will play Oachita Baptist at 4 p.m. followed by a match versus Henderson State at 6 p.m. Dallas, Texas will be the last stop on the road trip as the Aggies take on conference foe Dallas Baptist on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 12 p.m.
