A Good Weekend for Aggie Baseball

Goodwell, Okla.—The snow has melted and the temperature has climbed above freezing, which should make for a perfect weekend to enjoy some Aggie baseball.

The Aggies will take their home field for the first time this season Friday, Feb. 13 in an exhibition match-up versus Dodge City Community College; the double-header is set to start at 1 p.m. The team will take the field again on Sunday, Feb. 16 to start a three-game series with Dakota State. Sunday's double-header will start at 1 p.m. and game three will take place Monday with first pitch at 11 a.m.

OPSU holds a 0-7 record after taking losses to the University of Nebraska-Kearney last weekend in a four-game series in Albuquerque, N.M. Spencer Long, Sam Beattie, Tom Parker, and Walker Rainwater each started on the mound for the Aggies. Sophomores Jordan Bernal and Nicolas Zieniuk brought in 3 and 2 RBI for the Aggies respectively, while Ruben Aguirre, Lucas Ogaz, and Bo Ybarra each brought in 1 RBI.

Aggie fans are invited to come out to the ballpark this weekend to enjoy good baseball and good weather!
