He added, "I thought the pitching went very well and I'm satisfied with how we played. It will take a few games for things to start clicking with the lineup, but I'm confident that we'll start swinging it."

The Aggies host their home-opener Friday, February 7 with a double-header against Lincoln University (Missouri); first pitch is set for 1 p.m. The action will continue Saturday, Feb. 8 with the final two games of this four-game series.
