Goodwell, Okla.—Coming off a solid win last week against Oklahoma Baptist University, the Aggies plan to take their show on the road this week as they travel to Tyler, Texas for a game against the Texas College Steers Saturday, Sept. 27 at Noon.
The Steers will be looking for some answers to last year's game that ended in a 41-0 win for OPSU. They will have no choice but to throw everything they have at the Aggies in order to put up a fight, as the Steers have been outscored by their opponents this season 197-20.
Feeding off of last year's outcome, the Aggies plan on taking control of the game quickly. OPSU quarterback
Caleb Holbrook presented a humble strategy for Saturday. "We know Texas College has a very athletic team, much more athletic compared to OBU. That's not going to change our game plan at all. When talking about the team, I feel safe in saying that if we go out and play the way we know how, we will come out on top. I plan to take it one play at a time, and take what the defense gives me. The shots will come if I just stay patient within the game plan."
The Aggies will be looking for their second win of the season this week and currently hold a 1-2 record. Aggie fans can welcome the team back for the Homecoming game against Sul Ross State Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
