Aggies Come Up Short in Season Opener

Box Score Goodwell Okla—The OPSU Aggies played a hard fought battle against the number one team in the Heartland Conference, the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Thursday, Sept. 4. The Aggies began a strong match but unfortunately, they came up short losing 13-25, 4-25, and 10-25.

OPSU began the match really strong and came back hard in the third game. Senior, Shaina Eddings lead the team with six kills, 1 serving ace, and 1 block. The Aggies' defense seemed to be their strong point with a total of 24 digs, six each from Kayla Schwartz and Megan Archuleta.

Help the Aggies turn things around as they compete at home in the Aggies' Challenge Tournament on Friday Sept. 5 and Saturday Sept. 6. Also, come cheer them on at noon on Saturday, Sept. 6 with their second conference match of the season against Dallas Baptist University; the number two team in the Heartland Conference.
