OPSU Basketball on the Road

Goodwell, Okla.—Aggie basketball will close out December on the road with both the men's and women's teams competing away from home this weekend.

The men depart for Weatherford, Okla. to meet up with Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday, Dec. 12 for a 3 p.m. tip-off. SWOSU currently sits at the top of the Great American Conference ranks with an overall record of 6-1.

On Sunday, Dec. 13 the women's team is set to play an exhibition game against Division I opponent Colorado State in Fort Collins at 2 p.m. The Rams are 7-1 for the season and are currently ranked first in the Mountain West Conference.

Both teams then head to San Antonio, Texas to open Heartland Conference play against St. Mary's on Thursday, Dec. 17; the women tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the men's game will follow. From there the Aggies venture further south as both the men and women take on Texas A&M International on Saturday, Dec. 19.

After the holiday women's team will take a break from the conference stretch to compete in another NCAA Division I exhibition game. The Lady Aggies play the Mean Green of North Texas on Tuesday, Dec. 29 in Denton.

Closing out 2015 in Lubbock, Texas both the men and women will take on two of the Heartland's top-ranked teams in dual match-ups with Lubbock Christian University. The Lady Chaps currently rank first with a 7-0 overall record while the LCU men sit second at 6-1 for the season.

The Aggies will return to the Oscar Williams Field House for home court action in January starting with the men who are set to play Bethel College on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.; both teams resume conference play on Jan. 7 with games against Oklahoma Christian starting at 5:30 p.m.
