PLAINVIEW, Texas - In their last regular-season game, the Oklahoma Panhandle State University women's soccer team fell to the Wayland Baptist Pioneers.
The Aggies were unable to counter the potent offense of the Pioneers throughout the game. Aggies allowed double-digit shots in both halves of the match. While on the other hand, the Pioneers were able to hold off the Aggie offense in the game, only allowing two shots.Â
Sophomore goalie Mya Szymanksi held down the goal for the match and the majority of the season, allowing only three goals on eight shots on goal. Szymanksi has been a leader for this young Aggies team throughout the season. She also finds herself among some of the top goalies in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Ranking top 5 in both saves per game with 4.94 and total saves with 79.
