The Rangers defeat the Aggies in mid-week game

Box Score GOODWELL, Okla. – Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) baseball team fell to Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NWOSU), 9-2, on Tuesday, April 20th at Carrol Gribble Stadium. 
 
The Rowdy Ranger's scored a run in the first three innings before the Aggies were able to get on the board. 

It was the bottom of the fourth when fifth-year senior catcher Jonathon Applebury smashed a 2-run homer over the left field fence on a 0-1 count. Applebury's dinger closed the gap for the Aggies and Ranger game. 
 
The Aggies mounted a late comeback attempt in the bottom of the fifth but fell short. Ethan Hunt, single to right center that started the momentum. Hunt was able to advance to second on a stolen base. Pinch-hitter Kaden Kemp walked. But, with a runner in scoring position, the Ranger's halted the momentum with three consecutive strike outs.
 
The Aggies will be back in action versus Our Lady of the Lake this Saturday and Sunday, April 24th and 25th, at Hodgetown Stadium in Amarillo, Texas for an Alumni Event.
