OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The 2020-21 season came to a close for the Oklahoma Panhandle State University men's soccer team last Friday, losing to Mid-America Christian University in the quarter-final round of the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament. The Aggies (4-8-5) fell to the Evangels (13-3-1), 6-0.
"I'm proud of the work rate given the fact we only had one sub due to extenuating circumstances," OPSU Head Coach
Brandon Misuraca said. "It's a great accomplishment for this young program, reaching the conference tournament in each of our first two seasons, and that's something to build on."
Panhandle State found itself out-shot on MACU's home turf, 20-7.
Benjamin Hoffman and Daniel DeMello each took two tries for the Aggies.
John Avalos had five saves in goal for OPSU.
