GOODWELL, OKLA - The women's basketball team hosted their first home and conference game against Mid-America Christian University. The Aggies have been on the road since November 4th.
The Evangels would control most of the game in the first quarter, getting the lead up to 6 at the 2:18 mark. Sophomore
Chevelle Ralstin would hit a three for the Aggies, ending the first quarter 24-20 Evangels.
Coming into the second quarter Senior
Tateum Jones made a layup, scoring 25-26, and the Evangels would go into halftime up by 8.
After halftime, the Aggies would be down by 13 at the 6:25 mark. The Aggies would storm back with a 12-0 run going up by one at the 2:24 mark. The Evangels would respond, going up by six. Junior
Jamiya Eaddy hit a three as time expired, scoring 56-57.
In the last quarter, both teams traded shots. The Evangels would go on an 8-0 run, making the score 69-62. Aggies would respond on a 7-0. Unfortunately, the Aggies wouldn't score on the final shot making the final score 69-68.
Leading the way for the Aggies was Junior
Bianca Camello finishing the night with 18 points, shooting 9-15 from the floor.
The Aggies will be home as they face Southwestern Christian University on Saturday, December 3rd; tip-off will be at 2:00 PM.
