GOODWELL, Okla- The Aggies women's basketball team traveled to McPherson, KS, to take on Central Christian College Thursday night.
Both teams came into tonight's game winless in conference play.Â
In the first quarter of the game, the Tigers pounced on the Aggies by going up by more than 15 points.
In the second quarter, the Aggies would respond with an 11-0 run to get within three points of the Tigers. The Aggies would tie the Tigers at the 1:25 mark, 31-31, and the Tigers would have a two-point lead going into halftime, 33-31.
Aggies would open up the third period with an 8-0 run to take the lead 43-35 at the 6:49 mark. The Tigers would manage to get within two points. The Aggies would run the Tigers for an 18-2 run making the final score 88-57.
Leading the Aggies, Junior Alonna Harvey-Williams with 17 points, Junior Jamiya Eaddy would record a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.Â
Aggies will travel to Langston University to take on the Lions in a Saturday showdown tip-off at 2:00 PM.Â
