Camperell New Head Women's Soccer Coach

GOODWELL, Okla. - Oklahoma Panhandle State University Director of Athletics Victor Esparza announced that well-experienced coach Evan Camperell is the new Head Women's Soccer Coach. Camperell brings the experience of a wide variety of experience coaching at the JUCO, NAIA, NCAA(D2) levels. 
Esparza stated, " I am excited to have Coach Camperell join our Aggie family. Camperell brings excellent experience from all collegiate levels to the Panhandle, and I look forward to the fall."
Previously Camperell served three seasons as the head men's and women's soccer coach at Paris Junior College, located in northeast Texas, from 2018 to 2021. In addition to his coaching duties at Paris JC, Camperell also served as a kinesiology faculty member, teaching various courses for the College. Camperell earned his associate of arts degree from Palomar Community College, his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Redlands, and his master's degree in physical education from Azusa Pacific University. He also spent time studying within the kinesiology department at San Diego State University. In addition, he holds two U.S.S.F. soccer coaching licenses and an APEX Fitness personal trainer certification.
 "I'm very excited about joining the athletics program at OPSU and would like to thank the search committee for the opportunity to move the program forward," said Camperell. The Aggies schedule will kick off on August 16th at Anchor D Field versus Tabor College at 7:00 pm.
