Oklahoma City: Sooner Athletic Conference has released its preseason football poll. According to the coaches poll, the Aggies were picked to finish seventh this 2022 season.

Last season we saw the Aggies lose three games under seven points. The team finished 4-7 and finished seventh in the 2021 standings. The upside of the off-season is that the Aggies have 20 starting position players and 70 new faces to the team.

The 2022 season will kick off on August 27th when three conference teams play at home. At 6:00 PM, Missouri Baptist(MO) will play Lyon College (Ark), Friends University will be at Panhandle State also at 6:00 PM, and to finish the nightcap at 7:00 PM will be in Fort Worth, TX as Texas Wesleyan will play at home versus Arkansas State University Queretaro.

The SAC opener begins the following Saturday, September 3rd, as the Aggies battle on the road for the bell with their long-time rival Langston University.
