OPSU Sees 19 NAIA Scholar-Athletes Honored from Spring Sports

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University Athletics is proud to recognize 19 Aggies who were announced Wednesday as 2026 NAIA Spring Scholar-Athletes.
 
The baseball and men's track & field programs led the way for OPSU with five athletes apiece appearing on the prestigious academic list. Four Aggie softball players, three women's track & field athletes, and two men's golfers were also honored.
 
The 19 spring sports awardees brought Panhandle State Athletics' final NAIA Scholar-Athletes tally to 43 in the 2025-26 academic year.
 
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
