Eagles fly by Aggies

GOODWELL, Okla. Oklahoma Panhandle State Women's Soccer kicked off their conference opener versus John Brown University.

In the contest's first half, the Golden Eagles would score three goals within the first fifteen minutes of the game. In the second half, the Eagles would net two more at the 47th and 86 minute, making it a 5-0 ending score.

The Aggies, down players due to injury, did not give up! Aggies managed two shots from Senior Kelsey Vickrey. Junior Mya Szymanski would see 16 shots and manage to make 12 saves. 

After the game, coach Camperell stated,"The team is still dealing with being shorthanded due to some significant injuries, however in spite of that I was very pleased with how we competed in the game and how organized the players were within their positions".

The Aggie soccer programs go on the road to Chickasha, OK Saturday, Oct 1st, taking on the University of Science and Arts. The women's will play at 5:00 PM and the Men's at 7:30 PM.
