After the game, coach
Mark Laird shared, "we knew we were going to have to be the tougher team in order to beat a team like that. We started the game playing solid defense but foul troubles and carless turnovers just slowed us down on offense. I'm very happy we forced 22 turnovers and beat them in the glass 41-38. We finished 1st time through conference play feeling that we let a few of these get away from us. Time to tighten things up to make a run 2nd time around".
Aggies will be home for two games as they face UNT–Dallas on Thursday, January 19th tip-off will be at 7:45 PM.
