GOODWELL, Okla- The women's basketball team traveled to Mid-America Christian University Saturday afternoon.
The last time these two teams met was on December 1st in Goodwell, where the Aggies fell in a heartbreaker to the Evangels 68-69.
In the first quarter, sophomore
Mariah Williams scored the game's first basket. Senior Tatum Jones would hit a three-point shot at the 7:03 mark to give the Aggies a 7-4 lead. That would be the only lead the Aggies would see for the rest of the game, and the Aggies would be outscored 11-22 in the quarter. The final score was 49-86 Evangels.
Sophomore
Jamiah Clay led the Aggies with eight points, two rebounds, and a steal.
The Aggies will conclude their road series on Tuesday, January 31st, as they face Wayland Baptist University, and the tip-off will be at 6:00 PM.
