GOODWELL, OK - In their final road game of the 2023 season, the OPSU Aggies men's soccer team faced the formidable challenge of going up against the number one nationally ranked Mid-American Christian University (MACU) Evangels. 

The Evangels displayed their strength early in the game, scoring two goals at the 10-minute mark and the 16-minute mark, effectively taking a 2-0 lead into halftime. Despite the score deficit, the Aggies demonstrated their resilience by totaling five shots, with three of them on target during the first half.

Unfortunately, the Aggies were unable to mount a comeback, and MACU added one more goal at the 75th minute, bringing the final score to 3-0 in favor of the Evangels.

As a team, the OPSU Aggies completed a total of eight shots throughout the match, with three of them finding the target. 

The Aggies will now turn their attention to their last match of the 2023 season, which will be held at their home field. They are set to face the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) on Saturday, October 28th. The kick-off for this exciting home fixture is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
