GOODWELL,Okla- In a thrilling non-conference matchup, the OPSU Aggies traveled 10 hours to Houston, TX, to face North America University, emerging victorious with a commanding 57-0 win.
The game began with a scoreless first quarter, as both teams showcased their defensive prowess. However, it was in the second quarter that the Aggies broke the deadlock. Brandon Stephens connected with Jalen Partida for a 19-yard touchdown pass, putting OPSU ahead 6-0. Stephens continued his impressive performance, throwing a 54-yard touchdown pass, increasing the lead to 20-0 by halftime.
The Aggies didn't let up in the second half, adding more points to their tally and ultimately securing the resounding 57-0 victory. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, accumulating a total of 522 offensive yards.
The OPSU defense played a crucial role in the shutout victory. They intercepted the opposing quarterback three times and sacked him twice, limiting North America University's offense to just 117 total yards.
