OPSU's goalkeeper, Mya Szymanski, faced a relentless offensive effort from USAO, with six shots on goal and making three remarkable saves in the first half. The Aggies managed to register a single shot on goal, which came from Rebecca Herriotts.
The second half saw USAO extend their lead with two additional goals, ultimately sealing a 5-0 victory.
Following the match, senior Regan Ake, reflected on her career at OPSU as she played her last game wearing the Aggie Jersey. Ake expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of her parents, who never missed a game, and her teammate Becca, who provided invaluable encouragement during times when she got down on herself.
Looking ahead to the next season, OPSU women's soccer will be faced with the task of replacing five dedicated seniors, all of whom made significant contributions to the team. These seniors will leave a lasting legacy on the program and will be missed both on and off the field.
