Aggies take both games in a Thriller

GOODWELL, Okla-The Aggies softball team played a doubleheader against Central Christian College Saturday afternoon and took both games 14-0 and 12-7.

Game One: Senior Brielee Daniell left off with a solo home run to give the Aggies a 1-0 lead. Senior Sarah Conley would hit a single to get a runner across the plate to go up 3-0. 

Aggies had a dominating 4th inning scoring six runs. 

Daniell finished the game going 4-4 at the plate with two home runs, one triple, and four RBIs.

Freshman Marissa Obregon finished the game going 2-3 with three RBIs. 

Sarah Conley started on the rubber for the Aggies, going five innings, giving up two hits, and striking out six batters. 

Game Two: It turned out to be a thrilling, non-stop action game in a high-scoring game. The Aggies would be down 1-3 going into the third inning. Junior Meagan Bellar homered to center field to get the Aggies within one.

In the sixth inning, the game would be tied at 6, Brielee Daniell came in clutch with a three homerun to left center field to give the Aggies the 10-6 lead. 

Junior Toni Shawnee started the game for the Aggies, going one inning and allowing three runs from four hits. Rylin Baker came into the match, tossing two innings and allowing two runs. Sarah Conley took the win going four innings, allowing two runs from four hits. 

Aggies will head home for a conference game against Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Thursday, April 6th first pitch at noon.
