GOODWELL, Okla-The Lady Aggies swept Southwestern Assemblies of God University Friday afternoon, winning 12-3 and 13-10. Before the game, the Lady Aggies took both games Thursday 9-8 and 11-7.
Game One:Â The Lady Aggies run-ruled the Lions in five innings. Senior Sarah Conley toed the circle for the Lady Aggies, tossing five innings allowing three runners off of four hits, and walking one batter. Conley improved her record to 12-4 on the season and completed her eleventh game.Â
The Lady Aggies notched five runs in the second inning.Â
The Lady Aggies went yard twice from Senior Brielee Daniell in the first and Kaycee Torres in the fourth.Â
Game Two:Â There was plenty of action in the game as the Lady Aggies collected 13 hits and did the Lions. Lady Aggies tied the game in the bottom of the first inning when Kaycee Torres doubled to center field.
The Lady Aggies pulled away from the Lions in the second inning when Bryerly Avina homered to left center field.Â
In the 5th inning, Junior Meagan Bellar and Sarah Conley managed two score two runners to go up 13-7.Â
Junior Kenley Yocom started on the rubber, tossing one and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs from seven hits. Sophomore Rylin Baker pitched in out of the bullpen, going three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs off four hits. Baker also received her first win of the season.Â
Junior Nicole Peralta and Sarah Conley finished the game with three hits from the dish.Â
Next, the Lady Aggies will head to Fort Worth, TX, for another conference matchup against Texas Wesleyan University Rams on April 14th first pitch at 2:00 PM.Â
