GOODWELL, Okla-On Tuesday afternoon, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced their all-conference recognition. Five Lady Aggies earned all-conference honors.
Sarah Conley made first-team All-SAC first team, while
Bryerly Avina,
Meagan Bellar, and
Brielee Daniell also received second-team honors.
Brielee Daniell also received the Gold Glove Award, and
Nicole Peralta received an honorable mention.
Conley from Lenexa, KS, ended her season on a high note, beating #9 University of Science and Arts University and #5 Oklahoma City University. Conley led the team in wins with 16 and struck out 147.
Avina from Salt Lake City, UT, played 52 games ending her season batting a .352 with nine home runs,52 RBIs, and five triples.
In her first year as an Aggie, Bellar from Guymon, OK, ended with a .327 batting average, which was second on the team.
Daniell ended her two-year season with an impressive 23 for 23 in stolen bases. She would also lead the team in triples with six and lead the team with 52 hits.
Peralta finished her first season with a .307 batting average, and the speedster finished with 22 stolen bases.
