GOODWELL,OK-The Oklahoma Panhandle State University women's soccer team emerged victorious today with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Sterling College. 

The Aggies displayed exceptional teamwork and determination throughout the game, outshooting Sterling College 14 to 6. The pressure and intensity were palpable, with both teams demonstrating their commitment to securing a win.

Faith Cook, a standout senior player, demonstrated her skill and composure by converting a penalty kick at the 77th minute, sealing the victory for the Aggies. This clinical finish showcased the team's proficiency and determination under pressure.

Coach Evan Camperell expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, stating, "Today's game was a hard-fought match. We had to be very strategic with our substitutions and it paid off big as we had a lot of energy throughout the game. The penalty kick was generated by dazzling play from Briana Alvarez as she was taken down inside the penalty box late in the match. Faith Cook stepped up big to take the kick and convert the PK in clinical fashion!"
