GOODWELL,Okla-In a hard-fought doubleheader, Aggies faced off against the 19th-ranked Benedictine University Mesa (AZ) in game one, ultimately falling short in a 9-10 contest that extended to 13 innings.
Tate Nebhut took the mound for the Aggies, delivering a solid performance over three innings, allowing five runs off of 5 hits and striking out 3. Despite the early deficit, the Aggies fought back with impressive relief appearances from
Esai Torres and
Leandra Tamaki.
Jeremy Dibartolomeo and
David Garcia were offensive standouts for the Aggies, finishing the game with 3 RBIs. Both players showcased their power with home runs to spark the team. The Aggies displayed great determination throughout the extra innings, but unfortunately, Benedictine University Mesa ultimately secured the victory.
