The Aggies track and field team displayed exceptional athleticism at the Herm Wilson Invitational hosted by Wichita State University this past Saturday.

In the highly competitive Men's 200 meters, Kamron Neal demonstrated his speed and skill, finishing in an impressive 3rd place with a time of 22.59. Right on his heels, Austin White secured the 8th position with a notable time of 22.93.

On the women's side, Kaylee Lujan represented the Aggies in the Women's 200 meters, securing the 23rd position with a time of 27.69.

After the meet head coach Cyrus Hall shared "We had the opportunity to shake the rust off and finally compete against someone other than ourselves. I thought we did some good things. Obviously, a lot to work on, but we did a lot well. It was our 1st meet of the year, but most of the schools we competed against have already had 2, 3, even 4 meets. So, I am really pleased with how things went. Track is a sport of progression. We set ourselves up for a good progression this spring. We will get back and train for a few weeks and then go to Colorado and race again."

The Aggies are gearing up for their next challenge as they head to Colorado Springs, CO. The team is set to compete in the Air Force Collegiate Open, hosted by Air Force, on February 16th.
