Â
"Our 4x4 was awesome," head coach
Cyrus Hall said. "We were winning, we got hawked down on the last leg by a really, really talented guy. So we got second place. We beat Wayland Baptist, which, they're in our conference, so it was a pretty good showing."
Â
Numerous Aggies took part in the throwing events, with
Xavyer Mosqueda,
Ayden Hendershot and
Wyatt Hamilton finishing in the top five of the shot put. Mosqueda led with his mark of 12.40 meters, closely followed by Hendershot's 12.21 meters.
Â
Hendershot also snagged a top-five mark in the weight throw at 12.45 meters.
Aaron Vinson followed with a distance of 12.10 meters, good for his season best.
Â
Coach Hall's Thoughts: "We ran pretty well today, I think we're getting really close to being where we want to be, so I wouldn't be surprised if first outdoor meet, second outdoor meet, we start to look really good. And we looked good today."
Â
What's up next: The Aggies begin preparations for the outdoor season, which is set to start on March 12 in Coffeyville, Kansas.
