Goodwell, OK – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies volleyball team delivered a dominant performance, sweeping Southwestern Christian University in three straight sets at home. The Aggies took control early and never let up, winning 25-19, 25-18, and 25-18.
Leading the Aggie offense was Taylore Alsaid, who put down an impressive 16 kills, supported by Ava Newby with eight and Brenna Moore with 7. The team's strong serving was a collective effort, highlighted by Taylor Silva, who recorded 3 aces, with Moore adding one of her own.
On the defensive side, Brenna Moore stood tall at the net with three blocks, while Alsaid and Mia Sanchez each contributed 1.0 blocks. Setter Mia Sanchez orchestrated the offense efficiently, dishing out 30 assists and chipping in with seven digs. Silva and Alsaid also anchored the defense with nine digs apiece.
Coach Myers praised the Aggies' effort, noting the team's ability to maintain high energy throughout the match. "Yesterday, we started with a lot of energy, but it kind of faded. Today, we started with that energy and kept it throughout the game, playing with high intensity."
