GOODWELL, Okla. — The Aggies men's soccer team faced Oklahoma City University in a Sooner Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.
The Aggies lost 3-0. The visiting Stars controlled the tempo throughout the match, outshooting the Aggies 18-5 and having a 10-1 advantage in shots on goal.
Oklahoma City scored early in the first half and added two more goals in the second half to secure the win.
Aron Kanyai, the Aggies' goalkeeper, was active throughout the match, making seven saves to keep the game competitive. Despite his strong performance, the Aggies could not generate much offense, managing just five total shots, with
Nils Kienass recording the only shot on goal.
The Aggies played a disciplined game defensively, committing only three fouls compared to four by the Stars. Oklahoma City also had a 7-3 edge in corner kicks, which helped them maintain pressure throughout the match.

Next up for the Aggies is another conference road test against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 8, in Chickasha. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
