Goodwell, OK — The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggie women's basketball team faced a tough challenge on the road Tuesday night, falling to Oklahoma City University 82-28 in a Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
The Aggies struggled offensively throughout the game, scoring six points in the opening quarter. Despite their efforts, they couldn't overcome OCU's balanced attack, as the Stars showcased their depth and precision to secure the victory.
Lyric Carpenter led the Aggies with nine points, shooting 4-of-9 from the field while adding two rebounds. Freshman Gaby Uribe provided a spark off the bench, contributing eight points, including two three-pointers. Zamari Reece added five points and tallied a team-high ten assists.
On the defensive end, Diana Santos and Neo Trim worked hard on the boards, combining for ten rebounds, but OCU's offensive efficiency proved challenging to contain. The Stars used their size and speed to dominate the glass and control the game's tempo.
